Leaving for school today, I saw a huge sign at the corner of Banneker Drive and 31st Place. It was all about Fort Lincoln Day. Here are the details:
What: Fort Lincoln Day Celebration
Where: Fort Lincoln Park (adjacent to Fort Lincoln Drive)
When: Saturday, September 20, 11am-6pm. Program starts at 2pm.
Sadly, because of school, I will probably miss most of this event. Nevertheless, these celebrations are always fun. There is good food, some line dancing, and activities for young and old. Tell your friends and family about the event. If you have some time, stop by and hang out with your friends and neighbors.
